Green Juice

Ingredients (For Four People):

  • Half of a green apple and a red apple, cubed

  • 4 cucumbers, washed and diced (could be skipped during winter months)

  • 1 orange (to add a touch of sweet for children)

  • 1 tangerine

  • A small piece of ginger, peeled

  • 1 large cup of spinach

  • 1 large cup of parsley

  • Juice of half a lemon

  • Juice of half a lime

  • 2 cups of cold water

Preparation:

1. Juice the ginger in a juicer.

 

2. Place ginger juice, two cups of water, apples, cucumbers and the herbs into the blender and blend for one minute.

 

I usually add an orange and tangerine when I’m making this for Deniz, as it completely masks the taste of spinach and parsley. :)
